Tamayouz Excellence Award is an international architecture award that aims to celebrate the achievments of young architects and designers world wide. It is judged by a renowned International Judging Panel. The purpose of this architectural design award is to recognise the excellence in architectural design and education worldwide and showcase excellent architectural examples to promote and provoke architectural debate to share architectural experience and knowledge among young architects and academics.

'Architecture and Dance' are two creative fields with common interests around the concept of three dimensional space and movement. Parallelisms can be drawn between the two disciplines concerning matters of expressiveness, mechanical aesthetics of the human and structural body and gravity as a parameter of restriction. Moreover during the last years Architecture, supported by computational technologies, tends to redefine movements contribution to the design process as an effective parameter. In this context fruitful relationships can be drawn between the two creative practices.
